PolyPrime introduces a NEW polypropylene that is clearer and easier to process and print. Gloss/Gloss polypropylene sometimes presents challenges that make it difficult to feed because the material wants to block together. PolyPrime took the challenge head on and developed ProMotion™ polypropylene. ProMotion™ has been developed with a non-blocking process so that the sheets feed at the rate of your presses.

Along with the increased production, there are advantages of lower costs to PET & PVC, it is UV printable and is recyclable.

PolyPrime to reveal TerraCard Material at ICMA Expo

LumiSheet™ is a translucent high-temperature polypropylene manufactured by PolyPrime. Our development for this material came from printers and sign producers looking for an environmentally friendly material with similar properties to other substrates being used in the signage market.

2nd Genesis-Recyclable Polyethylene Material

PolyPrime believes its important to minimize our impact on the planet by re-using reclaimed plastic hence we have developed our 2nd Genesis recycled sheet. Our 2nd Genesis sheet is extruded polyethylene post-consumer plastic (PE-PCR) from reclaimed milk jugs which can be converted into many applications. Not only is 2nd Genesis good for the environment it is typically less expensive than virgin PE resin.

We can produce this in a natural translucent, tinted translucent and any PMS opaque color. We can extrude PE-PCR in thicknesses from 0.015 to 0.125 gauge. PolyPrime inventories 6 stock colors and 6 translucent trend colors in several standard thicknesses.

TerraSheet-Sustainable material using natural resources

PolyPrime’s new blended polyethylene material contains a natural mineral reducing the plastic (crude oil) content and improves the properties of the polyethylene sheet. When using TerraSheet, you can reduce the thickness of a typical PE sheet by 10-15% and achieve the same physical properties. This would offer a savings of 5-10% over a standard sheet thickness. TerraSheet can be convertered just the same as standard polyethylene sheet with cost savings and sustainable benefits.
